Filitalia International & Foundation will host a FREE Italian National Day street celebration and festival on East Passyunk Avenue between Mifflin and Moore streets on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 12pm-7pm. Celebrate all things Italian with music, food vendors, specialty cocktails and Italian draft and bottled beer specials. And you won’t want to miss the spaghetti-eating contest! Activities for the kids include a moon bounce and face painting. This event is rain or shine. It is also Craft Beer Day; there are plenty of beer specials and BBQs along the Avenue to keep your belly full and your thirst quenched! The festival’s entertainment/events schedule includes: DJ Johnny Looch, Pasquale D'oro and band from 3pm-7pm, spaghetti eating contest from 2pm-4pm and raffle drawings at 6pm.
