Work side by side with Jenn + get Inside The Industry so that you can nail your next commercial audition & book that role!Jenn will be teaching YOU the techniques of being in front of the camera + telling you what REALLY goes on behind the scenes between the Audition, Callback, and Booking.

There is SO much more to commercial auditioning than just delivering the lines…learn the tricks of the trade so that YOU will always be seen as the professional actor that nails it, every time.

Week 1: The Cold Read
~ Learn techniques to calm your mind + control your thoughts
*most actors talk themselves OUT of the booking before they even enter the room
~ Get one cold read & start working it in front of the camera
~ Learn what to look for in the copy to immediately connect to it + make the choices that will get them to remember YOU…and give you that CALLBACK!
~ Get in front of the camera + learn what it is they are looking for on the other side
~ Personality slates – learn the importance of talking about yourself + when you should do this
~ In depth feedback will be given to ALL students on both the cold read & the personality slate

Week 2: The Personality Slate
This week is all about YOU – Getting OUT of your comfort zone and into the moment
~ Practice your “Personality slate” and start to learn how to sell YOU
*This is a crucial skill that you can use in and out of the audition room!
~ Get a NEW cold read copy that you will work on in front of the camera
~ In depth feedback will be given to ALL students on both the cold read & the personality slate

Week 3 – The Audition
You have now had 2 weeks to work on the cold read technique + your personality slate…time to put it to the test!
~ Receive 3 different cold reads, you will get 5 minutes to prepare each
~ Hand in your Headshot + Resume (get some feedback on this material as well!)
~ Audition on-camera: slate + audition + personality slate
THIS is your time to shine!
~ You will get a “callback” for ONE of the sides that you perform…which you will then come back with for the next week
~ There will be feedback given, but it will be more general. This is YOUR time to apply what you’ve learned & start to fill in the blanks of why you think you got the callback!
*hint…now is the time to really apply the breathing/relaxation techniques you learned in week 1

Week 4 – The Callback
Putting it all together!
Time to stretch your IMPROV skills + get even farther out of that comfort zone!
~ Perform the (one) side from week 3
~ Jenn will take you through an improv situation for the character + situation of the commercial
~ Bring your personality slate into “real time” and go through a Q&A with Jenn. She will throw questions at you to see exactly how well you know yourself + can sell YOUR product!
~ Did you book it?! Jenn will give honest feedback on how you did + the progress you made throughout the 4 week course.
*Booking this role is NOT based on talent alone, but the work + progress you make over the 4 weeks
