More than anything, Live in the Grey (liveinthegrey.com) is about bringing life and reflection to the journey toward fulfillment, success and happiness. To that end, they are hosting their very first meetup to connect with, share and learn from the budding community. Live in the Grey is gathering three brilliant minds from across different industries to talk about how they overcame some of the challenges they faced in turning a passion into a full time job as well as the learnings from taking that kind of a risk.

Speakers:

The first guest is Grammy nominated musician, Emily King (@emilykingmusic, www.emilykingmusic.com). Emily will talk about starting young in the music industry, parting ways with a major label and overcoming the challenges of continuing her work independently.

Also joining LITG will be Chris Diken, Director Brand Messaging at Vimeo. Chris has a hand in everything at Vimeo from writing, editing, new product ideas, product launches, and content management to site design, social media and beyond. He is also the Founder of Uninhabitable Mansions, a record label and art collective based in Brooklyn. Chris will talk about some of the fun and exciting projects he's helped spearhead as well as what happens when things fall apart.

More speakers TBA
