WHAT:            United Soldiers and Sailors of America, together with Tel’Veh Café & Wine Bar will host an evening of appreciation for those serving in the armed forces on Saturday, May 18th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  In celebration of Armed Forces Day, the community is invited to take part and support our nation’s heroes with all donations going directly to the American Red Cross Stations to benefit the wounded troops recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital.  Guests who bring an item from the donation list will enjoy food and drink specials such as $1 oysters and $3 Budweiser and Miller Lite.  Military veterans and those serving active duty will receive a complimentary drink ticket upon arrival.  Representatives from United Soldiers and Sailors of America will be on hand to accept cash or check donations.
