Komen Maryland Ocean City Race for the Cure

The 2nd annual Komen Maryland Ocean City Race for the Cure 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk will be held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Ocean City Inlet Parking Lot (807 South Atlantic Avenue; Ocean City, MD 21842). The Race Village opens @ 6:00am, warm-ups begin @ 7:15am, and the 5K course opens @ 8:00am. The Awards Ceremony will be held @ 10:00am. Participants are encouraged to use the Park & Ride and Ocean City Transit Services: (http://oceancitymd.gov/Public_Works/transportation.html). A shuttle will be offered from the Roland E. Powell Convention Center (4001 Coastal Highway; Ocean City, MD 21842) at the rate of $1 per ride. You can register online, by mail, @ walk-up registration, or on Race Day. Walk-up registration is Friday, April 19th from 10-7 and Saturday, April 20th from 10-3 @ the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. You may also pick up your T-shirts at this time, or on Race Day. Volunteers are also needed for this event! Volunteers may assist with setting up the race village, food distribution, parking, information, photography, race course support and site restoration.
