Argentine Gourmet Bistro and Carry out, located in the Heart of Little Italy, Baltimore, Maryland, Max's Empanada's opened in January 2010 serving handcrafted Empanadas made from scratch using recipes from his family's kitchen. Max's Mama can often be found in the kitchen too.
I was contacted by Max Gonzalez of Max's Empanada's that he will be closing of the store on March 22nd. 'The location just didn't prove to work in Little Italy neighborhood,' Max explained.
FYI, Pacific Coast just steps away has shuttered its doors, sources say.
But do not fret, his delicious empanada's will still be available in the area. 'We are still going to do farmers markets and wholesales," states Max.
Max continues: This is not the end of Max's Empanadas. Max's Empanadas will move to a production facility where we are going to still continue to provide empanadas to our partners business : Grocery stores, Cafe shops, restaurants, University Cafeterias, and of course... Farmers Markets! We are not going to leave you without empanadas! We are going to be around!! But you still have the chance to come and visit us at 313 S. High street until March 22nd."
So from now, until closing, please stop into the store as they are offering big discounts to entice people to buy wine by the case.
The owners plan to search a better location for the future.
