Check out this Special Menu made in honor of the Inauguration. To help visitors and locals celebrate, the culinary team, under the direction of Executive Chef Chris Ferrier, at 2100 Prime, the signature restaurant at the historic Fairfax at Embassy Row, will be featuring the 57th Presidential Inauguration Menu. I thought it interesting as it gives some of our famed past Presidential favorite picks from their special days.
The menu selections are a result of research that the 2100 Prime culinary team has been working on for several weeks, and the selections are recreations of dishes that have been served to Presidents in the past in DC. Chef has brainstormed with his culinary team to bring back a few of the classics. Here’s the full menu, featuring farm to table ingredients and local, seasonal produce. The menu was served Friday, January 19 -Sunday, January 20, replacing the regular 2100 Prime menu.
And in addition to this historic menu, we’ll be featuring our lobbyist cocktail: the Smokey Veil, a Mad Men Cocktail dating back to the 20’s.
