WHAT:     Park Hyatt Washington will host Park Hyatt Masters of Food & Wine, a seasonal culinary & beverage experience on Saturday, January 26, saluting the ingredients, flavors, and talents of local chefs, regional artisans and producers, and American distillers. This special gastronomic Park Hyatt Masters event will feature a distillation workshop led by Scott Harris, owner of Catoctin Creek Distilling Company.

SCHEDULE:            Catoctin Creek Distillation Workshop from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

 Join us for an educational seminar teaching the fundamentals of operating a craft distillery – mashing, fermentation, distillation, storage, bottling and sensory tasting. The workshop, led by Scott Harris, owner of Catoctin Creek Distilling Company, Northern Virginia’s first distillery since prohibition, will cover the art and science of distillation.

To complement each of the three tastings, Park Hyatt Washington & Blue Duck Tavern Executive Chef Sebastien Archambault will prepare small plates celebrating the rich flavors of the winter season. Tickets are priced at $55 per person, all inclusive, and seating is limited to 20 guests.
