Legal Sea Foods, known for its award-winning traditional New England fare, invites Washingtonians to vote for their favored presidential candidates with their taste buds from October 24th through November 5th with two exclusive seafood dishes. The Blue Plate and Red Plate specials pay tribute to the fish from the home and adopted states of this year's candidates.  If you're "Biden" your time between a "Barack" and a hard place, an executive order of Hawaiian mahi-mahi is the ticket.  Or get your "Mitts" on a classic cod from New England.  Whether you lean left, right or somewhere in between, you'll fall these dishes priced at $25.95 each (tax and gratuity not included).  Guests are allowed to cross party lines and even reach across the table to enjoy one or both of these delectable dishes.

The Blue Plate Special offers patrons a liberal serving of Macadamia and Coconut Crusted Mahi-Mahi with roasted Brussels sprouts in a lime butter sauce, so delicious, they’ll want it for four more years.  The Red Plate Special of Pan Seared Cod with steamed spaghetti squash in a bourbon lobster cream sauce appeals to the 1%er but will be enjoyed by 100% of those who vote to order it.  This message has been approved by Roger Berkowitz, President and CEO of Legal Sea Foods.

The “Fishing Poll” dishes are available at Legal Sea Foods locations in the Washington area including 704 7th Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
