Maritime Magic

Enjoy an evening under the stars at the best annual party on the Baltimore Waterfront - Maritime Magic, benefiting Living Classrooms Foundation’s hands-on education programs. Over 2,500 guests will enjoy fine food and beverages from over 60 of the area's top restaurants, live music, casual festive ambiance, a beautiful waterfront setting, and a fabulous online auction. This year’s Maritime Magic will feature musical performances by MarchFourth Marching Band, a 20-member band showcasing a kaleidoscope of musical and visual energy that inspires dancing in an atmosphere of celebration. The show will take you on a journey from the swamps of Louisiana to the gypsy camps of eastern Europe to the African jungle by way of Brazil, echoing the deepest grooves of American funk, rock, and jazz then boiling it all together in cinematic fashion with high-stepping stilt-acrobatics and dazzling dancers. Maritime Magic will also feature a jazz performance indoors. Maritime Magic’s auction will take place online at www.biddingforgood.com/maritimemagic. Bidding will begin Sept. 19th at 8:00 a.m. and conclude October 5th at noon. Living Classrooms will also host the 3rd annual awards celebration for the Rising Stars program at a Maritime Magic pre-celebration, honoring up-and-coming young professionals as young philanthropists.
