Caffe Aldo Lamberti will host a Biondi Santi Wine Dinner with special guests Jacopo Biondi Santi and Tancredi Biondi Santi, on Sunday, September 9th at 3:30pm. Guests will start the night off with cocktail hour. Then, each dinner will be paired with a complementing wine, plus dessert and costs $150 per guest (all-inclusive).
Menu includes Butlered Hors d’oeuvres and Antipasto Display paired with Bellenda Prosecco during cocktail hour; Stewed Octopus with tomato broth and crostini paired with Braccale Jacopo Biondi Santi 2008 Maremma Toscana IGT; Grilled Shrimp with homemade tortelloni with wild arugula sauce paired with Sassoalloro Jacopo Biondi Santi 2008 Toscana IGT; Roasted Veal with broccolini paired with Rosso di Montalcino Biondi Santi 2008 Tunuta Greppo DOC; Colorado Rack of Lamb with black farro and asparagus paired with Brunello di Montalcino “Tenuta Greppo” Biondi Santi 2006 DOCG and for dessert Almond Semifreddo.
Biondi Santi is a prestigious winery located in Montalcino, Italy. The Biondi Santi name is synonymous with some of the best Italian Red Wines. They are best known for producing the first ever Brunello di Montalcino. The winery produces nearly 70,000 Brunellos per year. Caffe Aldo Lamberti is honored to welcome Jacopo Biondi Santi and Tancredi Biondi Santi as featured guest speakers for this wine dinner.
