Super H 5K Run, Walk & Wheel

The Super H 5K Run, Walk & Wheel race takes place Sunday, September 23. Registrants can walk, run or use their wheelchairs or handcycles through the event, which will take place at Tysons Sport & Health in McLean, Va.

The Super H 5K, which last year had about 300 participants, benefits MedStar National Rehabilitation Network’s adaptive and paralympic sports programs for those with disabilities, such as wheelchair basketball and tennis, quad rugby, handcycling, sled hockey and more.  The event was first held in 2004 to raise money for a prosthetic leg for amputee Harry Freedman.
