ART WITH A HEART ANNOUNCES
First Fridays @ HeARTwares

BALTIMORE – Art with a Heart, Inc. (AWAH) will host a First Fridays party on Friday, June 1st from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Castle at Keswick (3355 Keswick Rd. Baltimore, MD 21211)

The event will feature food from The Baltimore Gathering and showcase live music. HeARTwares recently celebrated its one year anniversary and outgrew its original location. The new location has the appropriate space to showcase the burgeoning artwork from participants in Art with a Heart classes. All sale proceeds are split equally between Art with a Heart and the community partner or artist.

Art with a Heart’s mission is to enhance the lives of people in need through visual art. Located in Baltimore’s Hampden community, the non-profit brings visual art programs to abused, neglected and/or abandoned children and youth; homeless men and women; battered women and their children; pregnant adolescents; mentally and physically disabled adults; low-income senior citizens; elementary, middle, and high school students community youth in after-school programs, and children receiving long-term health care. Founded in 2000, Art with a Heart has grown from four small classes a week to more than 1,400 classes a year and many community-wide initiatives.
