WHAT:
Earthday@Loudoun Family Festival is hosting its annual event to bring together the residents and exhibitors of Loudoun County for a day of entertainment, education and inspiration. This outdoor free admission Earth Day celebration attracts thousands of visitors, 6,000 in 2011, and provides educational venues to appeal to all ages and resources to learn about eco-friendly living. More than 90 exhibitors will be on hand at the event and each will have child/family friendly activities. There is live music, live wildlife exhibits, a marketplace with local artisans and crafts, eco-friendly products and services of all kinds at this lively event. Food and beverages are available for purchase provided by Clyde’s Willow Creek, and there is ample free parking and complimentary shuttle service on site.

Founded in 2009, for annual celebration of Broadlands becoming the 25th “Certified Wildlife Habitats Community” by National Wildlife Federation in May 2008, this event’s mission is also to promote environmentally, economically and socially sustainable living among county residents and businesses. This is accomplished through entertainment, exhibits, workshops and activities to engage and inspire the entire community, especially the next generation of environmental stewards. The event also
