Rated #1 Chic Lounge For New Years Eve 2012! Celebrate In Style At This New Hotspot At The Eventi Hotel! 5 Hour Premium Open Bar - 9:00PM - 2:00AM
Ring in the New Year with New York's finest at Bar Basque!
This contemporary upscale restaurant has earned its double D’s: delectable & dynamic, in true New York City fashion. Although this hotspot will clear its tables for dancing and safely remove all potentially hazardous utensils and replace them with your choice of drink, Bar Basque will showcase both its talents this special night: the eatery and the drinker-y. Offering a buffet-style meal created by their top chef along with a 5-hour premium open bar, Bar Basque will give you the full package this New Year’s Eve 2012.
The décor of Bar Basque will make you feel like you’re in a cabaret version of Blade Runner meets Tron, so it’s no shock to hear that the master mind behind this crisscross resto-lounge is Syd Mead—the actual production illustrator and conceptual artist for futuristic films like Star Trek, Blade Runner, Aliens and Tron. Nestled on the second floor of the Eventi Hotel, Bar Basque offers an innovative oasis for lounging and dining. Drawing upon the robust red and black color palette of the Basque region, the glowing glass panels in the lounge area shift through a pattern-sequence evolving from branches to leafy silhouettes that create a balanced ambiance against the bold and cutting-edge décor.
Impeccably executed, Bar Basque has ingeniously designed a restaurant that is nightclub style worthy. With a separate DJ booth and unassumingly massive dance floor, Bar Basque will be spiffy‘d out for the big night. Guests can enjoy bottle service or seated VIP tables and ring in the New Year with high energy and limitless inhibitions! The sprawling space boasts several hip and chic options for gathering, as guests navigate their way through different lounge areas and bars, separate indoor and expansive outdoor terrace under a retractable roof that offers a beautiful transformation in seconds.
With views of the courtyard and all of 6th Avenue, the outdoor terrace also features a replica of the famous TV screen hanging in Times Square. With measurements of 36x20 feet, guests of Bar Basque will get the same stunning view of the famous ball drop as the viewers live in Times Square. With the red carpet rolled out, a broadcasted view of the ball drop and someone to kiss at midnight, Bar Basque will be your chic alternative to Times Square. Imagine counting down to the New Year—champagne in hand, friends by your side—celebrating one of the most memorable nights ever.
