Baltimore International College (BIC) is hosting the “Celebration of Life” gala to benefit Michael Wagner, CEC, Senior Associate Chef Instructor at Baltimore International College. Chef Wagner has been battling cancer for several years. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with stage IV melanoma, which has spread to his liver and intestines. Chef Wagner and his family need our support.

The “Celebration of Life” gala will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Baltimore International College’s Culinary Arts Center located at 210 South Central Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the kitchens open at 6:00 p.m. The gala features an “around-the-world themed” progressive dinner with supporters moving from kitchen to kitchen. The evening will be filled with food, drinks, and live entertainment. Throughout the evening, supporters can bid on a large selection of silent auction items, such as a case of Kistler Vineyards wine, a condo for one week in Ocean City, Md., dinner for two at PAZO restaurant, dinner for two at Cinghiale restaurant, four tickets with parking pass to the Orioles versus Red Sox baseball game, two tickets to the Redskins versus Cowboys football game, a two-night stay at the Days Inn at the Inner Harbor, and much more! All proceeds from the evening will benefit Chef Wagner and his family in this difficult time.
