On Saturday, October 8, 2011, PS Charities will be hosting the Caribbean Casino Night and Silent Auction to benefit the GWU Breast Care Center Patient Assistance Fund. With support from this fund, the Breast Care Center has helped women overcome financial burdens and has established educational seminars for patients transitioning from treatment.

At the center, the caring, thoughtful staff believe that the type of care you receive as a patient can influence how well you recover. PS Charities' fund-raising efforts seek to help patients successfully move through all stages of the continuum of care for breast cancer diagnosis.
The Patient Assistance Fund has also provided support with overdue utility bills, rent subsidies, transportation expenses, baby-sitting expenses to help patients maintain consistent medical appointments, medications (related to breast cancer diagnosis or treatment), bras for mastectomy patients, physical therapy, Lymphedema care, and sessions with the Reiki Master and Naturopath at the Center for Integrative Medicine.
Our casino night and live auction provides a variety of sponsorship and donation options, including table game sponsorship, donation of auction items, and other packages. All proceeds benefit Patient Assistance Fund.
