Caffe Aldo Lamberti will host a wine dinner featuring the wines of Columbia Crest on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 6:30pm. Dinner is 5 courses, each paired with a complementing wine and costs $75 per guest (plus tax & gratuity).
Menu includes Hamachi Crudo with Avocado, Jalapeno, Daikon Radish and Cilantro paired with Grand Estate Riesling 2009, Cream of Carrot & Ginger Soup paired with Chardonnay H3 2008, Spring Quail Stuffed with Seasonal Vegetables paired with Walter Clore 2006, Porcini Crusted Filet Mignon with Potatoes Au Gratin and Fresh Spring Peas paired with Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2007, and for dessert, Pear Tart with Nutmeg Whipped Cream paired with Semillion Ice Wine 2005.
Special Guest will be Winemaker, Juan Munoz Oca, who was awarded Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Year, in 2009 for the 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
