Valentine’s Day Special at Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro and the Westin Reston Heights

Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro invites couples to enjoy a candle-lit evening for two as Executive Chef Bo Palker serves a dinner full of aphrodisiacs from Friday, February 11 through Monday, February 14. Upon arrival, guests will receive a fresh-cut, long-stem red rose and amuse-bouche, followed by an indulgent four course meal.

The special prix-fixe menu starts at $95 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and includes dishes like Braised Veal Sweetbreads Madeira on arugula and fennel salad; Butter Roasted Shelled Maine Lobster with white haven broth and creamy pea risotto; Olive Oil Poached Black Cod with truffle gnocchi and tarragon infused oil; and a Dessert Sampler with hazelnut crunch tort, white chocolate mousse bombe, chocolate Opus One and dark chocolate “Simplicity” ice cream. For an additional $40 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, diners can have each course paired with wine flights specially chosen by Sommelier Jason Meringolo.

For those in search of a longer getaway this Valentine’s Day, The Westin Reston Heights is offering a Romantic Rejuvenation package from Friday, February 11 - Sunday, February 13. The offer starts at $299 per couple, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and includes an overnight stay in one of the Westin's most luxurious suites, a complimentary bottle of champagne, $20 gift certificate for any spa treatment at Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spa in Reston and transportation to and from the spa. In addition, guests will receive dinner for two at Vinifera, an All-American breakfast for two in the hotel's restaurant the next morning and 4 p.m. late check out to ensure a stress-free weekend.
