The National "got milk?®" Milk Mustache Mobile Tour is crossing the country from March to September to help celebrate those special moments that families share around the dinner table and show moms that serving milk at dinnertime is an easy, and affordable, way to help make sure their families get the nutrition they need.
From July 6 – 9, the 2010 Milk Mustache Mobile “Milk the Moment” Tour will be cruising through San Francisco hosting free local events that feature a variety of fun and educational activities for the entire family. The tour also offers moms a chance to share how they “milk the moment” at dinnertime for a chance to win an unforgettable family dinner with Milk Mustache celebrity and chef Tyler Florence. But all San Francisco residents have the opportunity to meet Tyler Florence when the “Milk the Moment” Tour rolls into town! He is making a special appearance at the Milk Mustache Mobile event at Justin Herman Plaza (on the upper plaza, just north of Steuart and Market St.) on July 7, 2010.

At the “Milk the Moment” Tour events in San Francisco residents can:
• Enter the “Milk the Moment” contest for a chance to win a family dinner experience in San Francisco with Milk Mustache celebrity and chef Tyler Florence
• Meet San Francisco’s Tyler Florence himself as he poses for Milk Mustache photos, signs autographs, snaps Milk Mustache photos and talks about the importance of healthy family dinners shares information about the importance of healthy family dinners (July 7 at Justin Herman Plaza)
• Explore an interactive display that puts milk head-to-head with other dinnertime beverage choices
• Sample ice-cold lowfat and fat free milk from local dairies: Berkeley Farms, Nestle USA, Producer’s Dairy Foods and Sunnyside Farms
• Speak with local registered dietitian, Wendy Albovias, about the benefits of milk and nutrition tips
