This Saturday May 22nd, from 7pm -11pm, the penthouse of Silo Point will be the destination for celebrating art, food, music, and connections at Innovate Love. Proceeds benefit Innovate Baltimore and the Baltimore Love Project who share a common goal of connecting people. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.innovate-love.com.
A highlight of the event is the silent art auction curated by The Baltimore Love Project's lead artist, Michael Owen, who has brought together a collection of over 40 artists from Baltimore and beyond to create works on the evening's theme “Innovate Love”. Among the works of art is a specially commissioned piece from Whitney Sherman, titled “Innovate Love”. Owen connected with Whitney Sherman, a MICA professor and illustrator, to create the title piece. She not only agreed to do the piece, but also gave permission for limited edition giclee prints to be reproduced as a gift for all of the evening’s attendees.
Entertainment includes, Super Art Fight, who will be creating a live mural and musical performance by local house dj Terry Thompson. The art extends beyond the visual with rising food star Chef Frederick “Mookie” Hicks of NouvoSoul who has created a distinct menu of hors d’ouevres paired with artisan beverages from Flying Dog Brewery. And of course, the views of the Baltimore Harbor from the penthouse are a work of art that is worth the $25 admission price. Don your best cocktail outfit and come be seen at this exclusive penthouse event. www.innovate-love.com/tickets/
