11th Annual Taste of Carroll

Carroll Hospice, Carroll County’s only hospice organization, has announced that it’s premiere fundraising event, Taste of Carroll, will take place on Monday, May 17, 2010. A VIP reception, including a meet and greet with Bob and Kendel Ehrlich, will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. while the general tasting event will occur from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will take place at the Manor House at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, Md.

Over the past 11 years, Taste of Carroll has raised over half a million dollars for Carroll Hospice. The proceeds help support inpatient and outpatient hospice care services as well as a full scope of bereavement programs provided to family members and the community at large. This year, Taste of Carroll will feature food and wine tastings from over 30 of the area’s finest restaurants. This highly anticipated and always sold out event will also feature live and silent auctions throughout the night. The event is organized by a volunteer committee chaired by Carolyn Burns of Eldersburg.
