Women Artists/Women Healing 2010:

The Healing Power of Myth, Ritual, and Celebration

Funded in part by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, WAWH II brings together an international cohort of primarily women artists, writers, healers and activists for a series of presentations and small group workshops focusing on healing practices in dance/movement; theatre/storytelling; writing & art, and empowerment & activism. Free and open to the public, each Saturday session features exhibitions of visual art, resource information, scholarship and discussions, networking and meet-up opportunities, as well as light refreshments.
