Langermann's Baltimore newest restaurant review, Baltimore Winter Restaurant Week

Langermann's is taking a most delicate and quiet approach as it enters the Baltimore Restaurant Scene. Nestled comfortably in what was the old Donna's/Bibelot Spot and then, Kiss Cafe in the American Can Development area, Langermann's, named after it's Executive Chef/co-owner, Neil Langermann, I predict, will be a new hot spot for foodies, casual upscale diners when it opens its full menu in the upcoming weeks. Langermann's is a welcome respite for those looking for a good, reliable spot away from the typical 'bar scene' of Fells Point and Canton that surrounds them, like the next door the newly opened and already popular FIELD HOUSE SPORTS BAR--you know, the typical crowded, noisy sports bar catering to a younger, partying, beer-loving crowd.  A plus is the FIELD HOUSE is swimming in TV's making it easily accessible to watch the game of your choice, by the bar area, in booths and large hanging wide screens-truly a well-planned sports bar!

Back to Langermann's Restaurant--Focusing ona Southern inspired theme, Langermann's touts 'Southern insipred' dishes, shrimp and grits and prepares a twist of traditional dishes like turkey and warm, melted brie cheese and traditional wings are made with a spicy asian sauce-yum. Langermann's takes the diner to a new level of comfort food and taste buds delights. Wait staff wears old time crisp white jackets giving a more supper club feel. Although not a 'sports bar', we did enjoy watching the Ravens win their playoff gave on one of the 2 42" screens flanking the bar.
