Stache Bash

What is Stache Bash?:

a) December 12th at 7pm SHARP at Taps Baltimore in Federal Hill.

b) A can't-miss event you should invite EVERYONE you know to attend.

c) Awesomely fun, with mustache-themed costumes highly encouraged.

d) A mustache mock-beauty pageant with (psudo)celebrity judges and scientific(ish) scoring.

e) Where "Baltimore's Sweetest Stache of 2009" will be crowned.

f)  All of the above.

Stache Bash is only 10 days away!!  But what IS Stache Bash exactly?  Please, allow us to share.
Stache Bash is M4K's signature event, celebrating our brave volunteer growers and their beautiful mustaches.  The highlight of the Bash is the Sweetest Stache Competition, a mock-beauty pageant culminating in the crowing of "Baltimore's Sweetest Stache 2009"!  So INVITE your friends, family, coworkers, that cute barista from the coffee shop...you know...EVERYONE...to come support all the great work our Growers have done this Growing Season!  (P.S.  We will be asking for $5 donations at the door to cover the operating costs of running our humble chapter.)

Competition events will include:the Parade of Staches - Each Grower struts his stache for the audience
The Poetry Competition - Growers recite an originally composed mustache-related haiku, limerick or sonnet (extra points).  Start writing now! The Look, Touch & Feel - Our judges will rate the quality of the stache!

The Mustache Dance Off - The stache, and only the stache, will dance for the crowd.  And more!
Costumes!-In true M4K tradition, mustache-related costumes are HIGHLY encouraged and will result in big time extra points being awarded.  Ladies, this goes for you too.  A few pictures from last year are attached to whet your appetite.  But don't let last year's pictures constrain your creativity.  We know you're destined for big things.
T-Shirts-We can't even begin to tell you HOW AMAZING our M4K Baltimore t-shirts look this year!  Growers - come get your FREE commemorative t-shirt as a thank you for all that you've done!  Mustache aficionados, please support us by purchasing a shirt at the event!
Prizes!
We will be awarding cash prizes to our winners!  But there's a...errr... slight catch.  The money must go to the kids, and you don't count.  A generous donation has allowed us to award the following DonorsChoose.org cash credits to our winners!
