George de Paris Custom Master Tailor 650 14th St NW Washington, DC 20005

Having a suit custom-made by master Washington DC tailor George De Paris is a Presidential tradition. Now, President Obama, who had his third and final fitting last week, will soon have his very own De Paris suit. For the last forty years, De Paris has dressed every President in the White House. In 2003, George W. Bush gave his State of the Union speech in one of his hand-made suits.

INSIDE EDITION visited De Paris at his tiny unassuming shop which is a stone's throw from the White House. De Paris, whose suits are all handmade and start at about $3500, showed President Obama's suit. The 2-button suit is loosely stitched together and he is hand-stitching the pants.

The jacket is a 42-long. The suit is black and will have a modern classic fit and it's made from 4 yards of the finest English wool. The suit is sure to get the Presidential seal of approval.

De Paris is hoping that the President will wear his suit when he accepts his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo on December 10th. Inside Edition contributed as a source.
