Bring your friends, families and co-workers to enjoy a fun-filled day enjoying gorgeous landscape of the Eastern Shore, while helping the American Diabetes Association to raise awareness and critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy to improve the lives of all people affected by this disease.

As part of NKF-MD’s mission of early detection and early intervention, this KEY (Kidneys: Evaluate Yours) screening will identify early markers for high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease. No appointments are needed for the screening and any adult can participate. Lasting about 20 minutes, the screening includes a blood test, as well as blood pressure and weight checks.

Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This all-age, all-ability event is full of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Come and visit the beach for a day, an overnight, or better still, the entire week for dining out-heaven. Restaurant week features fabulous 3-course dinners all over town. Restaurants will be offering menus with $30 or $20 prix-fixe dinners for a full week in June. Some restaurants are even serving special lunch menus at $10 & $15. Find your favorites, see what they are serving and when they are open. No matter your culinary favorites or what’s in your wallet, there are treats for your palate!

The 23rd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. It's a day of fun for the whole family!

Tastings start at 11:30 am and last until the chocolate runs out or 3:30 pm. Tickets will be pre-sold starting February 15th, 2013 OR purchase tickets at the door: Admission is only $2.00 and you can buy as many tastes as you like for only 50 cents each! Sorry but no carry out is permitted. Children under 5 get in for free.
