Get out your walking shoes and bring your whole family to walk with a purpose through historic downtown Salisbury to end Alzheimer’s. In addition to the 2.5 mile walk, enjoy music, light food and refreshments, and entertainment. Pay tribute to loved ones by planting your hand-crafted Forget-Me-Not flowers in the “Garden of Memories.” Walkers who raise $100 will receive a Memory Walk t-shirt. WMDT-TV News Anchors Stacy Sakai and Katherine Amenta will emcee and announce the top three fundraising teams and top three fundraising individuals. Register early, either as teams (four+ members) or individually. Registration is free and available online. Memory Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
