For the 6th year in a row, the American Swedish Historical Museum invites brewers and beer enthusiasts to come together for a summer evening at the Museum, sampling local Philly and Scandinavian lagers, ales, stouts and more. Take a tour around the museum, discover new beer, enjoy Swedish food and games, and take in the beautiful scenery of the Museum and FDR Park.

This is a free event for you and your family to come and learn how we are getting the community geared up for our annual walk in Baltimore. Join us and help fight back against ALS in honor of the 600+ individuals living with ALS that our Chapter cares for in the region! 

Old City District debuts Old City Eats every Thursday through August 25, 2016, from 5-8pm, at 32 restaurants and bars. Philadelphia’s newest summer happy hour will feature 50% off select small plates and $5 cocktails, plus off-menu specials, seasonal cocktails and chef collaborations. Participating restaurants offer something for everyone, including Fork, The Little Lion, High Street on Market, Buddakan, Common Wealth, Amada, Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, The Olde Bar, Continental, Nick’s Bar & Grille, Jasmine Rice, Sassafras and many others.

The festival consists the best of Baltimore live music and performances and a Resource Fair for community members that will include a back-to-school backpack and grocery giveaway. Over 40 resource booths from local organizations including University of Maryland Extension, Whole Foods Mount Washington, and Whitelock Community Farm. There will be free blood pressure screenings, HIV/AIDS testing, offering employment information, and continuing education booths. 

Artscape is America's largest free arts festival, featuring a full schedule of performing arts including live concerts from national, regional and local acts on multiple outdoor stages and a wide variety of opera, theater, street theater, classical music and jazz performances.  Additionally, the festival showcases visual artists from the Baltimore region and beyond through an artists’ market, outdoor & indoor exhibitions and an extensive variety of local food and beverage vendors.
