Benefitting Abilities Network, Walkabout Abilities is a fun, inspiring, community fundraiser that brings individuals, families and the community together to support Marylanders with disabilities.

Following a 2-mile walk around the Goucher College campus, participants can sample refreshments including Baskin & Robbins ice cream sundaes, courtesy of The Coleman Family and Baskin Robbins. They also can enjoy live music DJ music, an appearance by Baltimore Ravens Mascot Poe, face painting, art activities, moonbounce, and entertainment for all ages.

The business casual event will feature cocktails and a buffet dinner provided by Kooper’s Tavern and the live guitar sounds of Someone Else. A silent auction will feature bed and breakfast hotel stays, dining and entertainment packages and sports memorabilia. A special item will be a 2–foot-by-6-foot replica of Abraham Lincoln’s handwritten pages of the Emancipation Proclamation.

Join The Mall in Columbia for its fourth annual Girls Night Out exclusive shopping event and help women join together to make a difference! For a $15 donation to Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake Women Build, guests will be treated to fantastic food samples from the mall’s eateries, music and great giveaways, plus a sneak peek at the hottest summer fashions provided by participating merchants.

 Come Join me and help raise money for BREAST CANCER! I am walking 39.2 miles the weekend of October 20th - 21st. I am doing this for my mom who passed away on April 7th. She passed away due to other complications although I did find out that her breast cancer came bac...k in the bone marrow (Stage 4) after 17 years of being breast cancer free..

I am in it to END IT!

In addition to a delicious meal, great prizes and networking, the main attraction will be the presentation of the 2012 Spirited Women of Baltimore Awards, which honor everyday women who make extraordinary contributions to their community and those around them.

The event is expected to draw approximately 200 guests representing the most affluent, successful women in the business community, as well as elected officials, community leaders and business leaders.
