Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics MD-On January 29 & 30, 2010, I (Kristin Doehring) will take the Plunge into the cold waters of the Chesapeake Bay - NOT JUST ONCE, BUT 24 TIMES! Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics MD--SOMD is a cause that is near and dear to my heart! I have been a volunteer for the Polar Bear Plunge for 11 years as well as a plunger. I have also participated in various other events for Special Olympics over the years.

The Lower Shore Red Cross Chapter's FASHION EMERGENCY Fashion & Art Luncheon will be held Feb. 24th at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City.
