A night of Cartoon Kitties with luxurious locks: the fabulously bizarre theme for City of Hope and HopeCuts’ 4th Annual Master Hair Stylist Competition. Philadelphia’s top hair stylists will put their talent to the test for awards and prizes in several categories, including: Best Cut, Color, Stylist, and Best in Show. The hair competition, hosted by City of Hope’s Harry Giordano, will be accompanied by a night of celebrity impersonators, cocktails, music and dancing. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $10 with VIP Invite.

Sweat Fitness presents a special day of discounted fitness classes and training sessions, massages, prizes and MORE to help fight cancer and raise funds for City of Hope National Medical Center. On Oct. 16th, Merritt Athletic will be hosting the Family Fall Festival, including the "Trick or Trike-a-thon" event. Children of all ages are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes and bring a bike, trike, wagon, stroller, or anything with wheels to ride around the kid-friendly course in the parking lot. For each “lap” completed, sponsors will donate money to support the American Cancer Society's fight against breast cancer. At the event, families can decorate their "rides" with pink-themed decorations and enjoy other family-friendly activities.

The reigning Tallest Model in the World, Amazon Eve, is visiting Baltimore on October 14th. Amazon Eve is not only a celebrity, she loves shoes, but can't fit into many at a size 14! During her East Coast tour, Eve will spend an afternoon in Baltimore visiting her favorite shoe retailer--Barefoot Tess.
