From cocktails in the lounge, to the raw oyster bar, and a main course of ultra-fresh fish, a meal at the Oceanaire is a great way to indulge your unfettered senses.--The seafood is flown in daily from around the world. The Oceaniaire says it is a source of “top-of-the-catch fish from the world's most reputable suppliers”.
black or white napkins offered depending on your dress-lint conscious! lovely service, terrific fish and wine pairing list.

We found a delightful small plates menu at the bar at Oceanaire in Baltimore. My husband ordered crab cake sliders & truffle fries. The crab cakes were huge! The aroma of the fries made my mouth water. I chose the surf & turf. The black & blue sirloin & tuna tartare were perfect! I highly recommend the bar menu at Oceanaire.

Never having been, we were excited for our evening. I would say the outcome was mixed. Unfortunately, exceptional service from a very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff was the highlight, not the food. On the plus side, the filet mignon was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The sides, sold a la carte, (matchstick fries and spinach) were also great, as was the calamari. What surprised and disappointed were the entrees. The fish entree, Stuffed Turbot, was bland. The crab cakes and clam chowder were so rich it was hard to finish the meal. And, we were just confused by the complimentary tray of carrot & celery sticks which seemed very out of place at such a sophisticated restaurant. I think we need to return to see if this was a fluke or the norm.
