A NIGHT FOR HUMANITY

The Robert & Claire Peter Foundation will present the ultimate cocktail party featuring extraordinary cuisine, special guests, dancing, a silent auction and more– all to make life brighter for those in need. A Night for Humanity will honor international celebrity event designer, Colin Cowie; Certified Master Chef Edwin and Allison Scholly, and local  philanthropists, Henry and Dot Rosenberg, long-time supporters of the Foundation.

The menu includes samoosas from The House of Audre, heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar with cocktails from Linwoods. Guests also can enjoy treats prepared during live demonstrations by Scholly, who has managed culinary and hospitality operations around the world during his 26-year career. Cowie, a long-time House of Audre' friend and customer, will give guests insight into his style expertise. Adding to the fun, guests can dance the night away to the tunes of Mongezi Chris Ntaka and MAHALA.  

Founded in 2003 by Audre and Martin Peter, The Robert & Clair Peter Foundation is a Catonsville-based 501 (c) 3 organization that ships medical equipment and supplies to disabled children and adults in the United States and South Africa. Despite struggling to fund the shipments through out-of-pocket donations, the Foundation sent 107 wheelchairs, 82 hospital beds, 58 walkers and adaptive equipment to help hundreds of people in need, last year alone. Proceeds from A Night for Humanity will help defray the costs of shipping two more containers with medical equipment to South Africa.
