As part of its National Pizza Month celebration, Grotto Pizza will host a special event, Monday, Oct. 29, from 11 to 1 p.m., at its Columbia location.
Guests can enjoy tastings and refreshments while watching the following celebrities judge the finalists in the “Create Your Own Pizza Competition”: Dara Bunjon (Dara Does It. - Creative Solutions for the Food Industry and www.diningdish.net), Gina Crash (Co-host; Today’s 101.9 Morning Show, Today’s 101.9 FM), Darren M. Haynes (Sports Director/Anchor, WUSA9—Washington), Franchon Crews Dezurn (WBC Super Middleweight World Champion – “The Heavy Hitting Diva”) and Jermaine Lewis (Baltimore Ravens Alumni, Super Bowl XXV).
The winner will receive a $100 Grotto Pizza card and recognition if his/her pizza goes on the menu. This event culminates a busy October where all Grotto Pizza locations are featuring five specialty pizzas and contests for sharing your favorite Grotto Pizza memory and sharing your National Pizza Month experience at Grotto Pizza on social media.
