A TOUCHDOWN FOR PIGTOWN GALA
Saturday, March 28, from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
Location: M&T Bank Stadium’s Southwest Suites, Club Level.
With an anticipated audience of more than 500 guests, the business casual event will feature Ravens’ playing field tours, dinner, dessert, dancing to the 18-piece “Big Band,” Shades of Blue, and a special performance by elementary school students from the After 3 After-School Drumming Club at Paul’s Place.
Live and silent auctions will have such items up for bid as:
- a weeklong-stay at a manor house in Ireland,
- a 10-day visit to Ireland with a  three-day stay at Ashford Castle, of the most distinguished Irish luxury hotels, and a week-stay at an Irish manor house.
- a weekend stay at Savage River Lodge in Western Maryland,
- a private tour of the Walters Art Museum with the executive director,
- a painting of Paul’s Place by acclaimed Baltimore artist Greg Otto,
- a Ravens Skybox package, and
- various sports memorabilia, golf packages at private courses, jewelry and more.
University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) President Dr. David J. Ramsay will receive the inaugural Paul’s Place Commitment to Community Award for his leadership in strengthening the academic excellence of the professional schools, continued stabilization of Southwest Baltimore, and community development and involvement, including a 24-year relationship with Paul's Place.
Charles and Katherine O’Donovan III are the event co-chairs, and WBAL Radio Personality Keith Mills is the event emcee.
The gala is intended to raise more than $200,000 to support the programs of Paul’s Place, a non-profit organization that improves the quality of life in Baltimore’s Washington Village/Pigtown community.
