I agree to a certain point
I agree to a certain point and this isn't the first time I've heard people complain about the service at Golden West. Some of the staff particularly the host station could be a little more accommodating and look you in the eye and act maybe like they actually were happy to see customers come into the restaurant - but I digress. For the most part I've had good experiences there. Their bloody mary's and breakfast options are uniquely delicious too.

HampdenFoodie Comment
Thanks HampdenFoodie for the review. I have no interest in frequenting an establishment with some of the worst service in Baltimore. Even if the food is great.

Good food, bad service
Food: I've eaten at the Golden West since they were located on the 800 block of 36th St. The food has always been great. My favorite has always been the Frito Pie. Love the burgers and the tots!
Service: Some of the worst in Baltimore. Staffed by seemingly disinterested hipsters who do their best not to make eye contact. Good luck getting a refill on your drink.
Final recommendation: Food is good enough to keep patronizing Golden West, but sit in the bar if you can. That way you can avoid the crappy service.

Question
I read a nice recommendation about this restaurant. Can someone give me ideas about the 3 best items they offer so I don't go in there cold?
