Blue Hill Taver for Restaurant Week

Blue Hill Taver for Restaurant Week-We had such a fabulous night! The bargain for dinner, even better than Restaurant Week was the enormous kobe beeft burger on brioche with french fries. (I couldn't and wouldn't eat it all). A great night with my friend Patti. Intersting food, conversations, and a lovely table on the balcony! Thanks!

Blue hill tavern cocktails are fab

We loved the watermelon martini. Don't faint- it's a far cry from my ice tea! Love this place!

After hearing wonderful

After hearing wonderful things about Blue Hill, I was invited to anevent there on a Sunday afternoon. Mind you, the last time I was in this place it was a bar, old school bar. When I walked in i wa amazed at how beautiful the space was now. I didnt eat but i surley did have their own straberry infused Vodka. All I can say is, YUMMMMMY!

We tried the Blue Hill Tavern after hearing great reviews from friends. The food was, without reservation, delicious! The restaurant is beautiful! I have only two minor complaints...(1)our waiter was rather agressive in insisting that he go over the entire menu with us without asking if we wanted him to do that (we had already decided what we wanted to order) and (2)a very loud party of 10 was seated near us, fortunately after we finished our entres. If we had wanted to order dessert, we would have declined staying there any longer.

We will definitely go back, but will ask for a table on the deck or the side patios where, hopefully, we will be able to have a quieter dinner.

Wonderful

The food and drinks are always good. Familiar but not ordinary. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The perfect place for a date night or happy hour.

The Hill

Loved the crabcake entree at Blue Hill - it gets my vote for Baltimore's best! Can't wait to sit out on the deck again...one of the best views in town!

Blue Hill - Two Thumbs Up Again

Once again Blue Hill didn't disappoint. Went on Friday night as some friends hadnt been before. One ordered off the restaurant week menu and had the Cream of Crab soup, 48 hour Sous Vide Short Ribs, and the Pumpkin Fritters, which were all regular portions. We split a cheese plate. I had the Caesar Salad -- YUMM, Surf & Turf, and the Chocolate Creme Brulee which was a great take on the original. The last in our party had the Veal Chop, which I might think is one of the best in Baltimore. If you haven't been before, run....don't walk...you wont be disappointed.

Blue Hill Tavern - Touch of LA in Baltimore

I had with the Tuna with a Basil Peppercorn sauce, followed by the Veal t-bone w/ roasted fingerlings, haricot vert, peanut veal sauce, and for dessert Goat cheese cheesecake, w/ brittle, pear sauce, and pears. The app and dessert were fantastic; the entree was great but lacked something to make it memorable. Others had the Butternut Squash Soup, Chateaubriand, and Chicken Carbonara, which they all enjoyed.

Blue Hill Tavern rocks Brewer's Hill

Blue Hill Tavern Baltimore's new restaurant Blue Hill is amazing. We love having our happy hours there at the bar. Great bartender named Stan has these awesome infused vodka drinks. The menu is interesting too.

Blue Hill Tavern Baltimore review

Blue Hill Tavern is a great surprise to Baltimore. We adored the way it is decorated, but this chef-wow. The Steak and eggs (quails egg) and the scallops and surf and turf were amazing. This is our new special occasion restaurant in Baltimore. Thanks for the Blue Hill Recommendation, CITY peek

Blue Hill Tavern --Restaurant in Brewers Hill

Blue Hill Tavern --Restaurant in Brewers Hill My husband and I love this new Baltimore Restaurant-We went after a long day during the week--the service is great at the bar. BUT the steak and eggs meal that came with toast and jelly is the most amazing presentation order and loved the crab cake/filet--surf & turf dinner. Plus it is a place to see local celebrities. Absolutely love this new Blue Hill restaurant.

Blue Hill Tavern is gorgeous!

BLUE HILL Tavern Restaurant high atop S. Conkling Street in Butcher's Hill (just caddy-corner to the NATTY BOH sign-seen to left) is easily the sexiest restaurant since IXIA opened (and now closed, yup, it is ferme, at its 8th year anniversary), Red Maple in Mt Vernon and PAZO. Althought it was in the heart of Baltimore Restaurant week www.citypeek.com/baltimore/dining- to hit the town. Recently I had a relaxing time with fellow foodie and wine lover, Steve Warrick,General Manager of alizee bistro and wine bar restaurant in The Inn at the Colonnade joined me in this adventure. www.citypeek.com/baltimore/event/baltimorerestaurantweekcom-august-balti... ) we chose eat off the 'regular menu.' Greeted by co-Chef/Owner Mel Carter and Bar Manager, Stan, we settled in at the bar for a foodie adventure. Steve dug into the wine list, choosing the Quipe Syrah. "An under-rated wine choice also known as Shiraz in Australian brand wines, Steve points out. Yummy, once chilled a tad. We nibbled about off the appetizer menu--on the charcuterie plate and were delighted by the picked celery, pickled carrots-as well as perfectly carved meat ( soon-to-be-made in house), tasted the pickled deviled eggs, ($3), Parmesan garlic donuts and I loved the scallops topped with caviar, dancing in a spicy lentil broth.

We had a personal, well-practiced tour- by MEL CARTER-of the gorgeous restaurant, immaculate, organized kitchen and sophisticated rooftop deck on par with LA or Miami top spots. This place has promise for a lot of fun!

I am looking forward to ordering the surf and turf on my next visit which a neighboring couple said was amazing. A perfectly broiled crab cake and filet-hungry for it now. Also, the beef short ribs (prepared sous vide) is highly recommended and the gorgeous steak and eggs appetizer! (not like at the greasy spoon-but we LOVED dining at the counter @ JIMMY's in FELLS POINT recently-thanks JIMMY and Nick!) The menu creative and the ambiance enticing--truly feel like I have left the blue-collar streets of South Baltimore. Really a trip to Blue Hill Tavern in Brewer's Hill Baltimore is a treat! www.bluehilltavern.com
