Downtown DC heats up again this summer with the free Golden Triangle Summer Concert Series (formerly known as "Sounds in the Square") held in Farragut Square Park on Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. in June and July.

Fourth of July, Independence Day, is celebrated on Sunday this year - check out the fireworks displays throughout the area.  The federal holiday is observed on Monday, July 5th.

Father's Day is Sunday, June 20 - don't forget to remember Dad!

Memorial Day is officially May 31, 2010; although it is celebrated as part of a three-day weekend of celebrations.

Mother's Day is Sunday May 9, 2010.  Make your reservations early as restaurants are usually quite busy!!

Cinco de Mayo is Wednesday, May 5, 2010 - check out events all over town for this fun and festive celebration!
