Black Restaurant Group Hosts A Chicken Fried Steak Showdown At Black Jack to Support Juvenile Diabetes with Foodie & The Beast

Proceeds from the May 6th event will help meet the $200,000 goal of Black Restaurant Group to build a special teaching kitchen at the Washington Nationals Diabetes Care Complex at Children’s National Medical Center.

Bethesda, MD Cork 57 will offer a special wine tasting featuring the wines of NFL star Charles Woodson, cornerback of the Green Bay Packers, and Partner of the boutique wine label, “Twentyfour by Charles Woodson”, on Thursday, April 26th. Admission for the tasting will be $25 and the price will be credited to a purchase of the award winning boutique wine. The tasting begins at 5 PM with "24" team partner Rick Ruiz opening the event. At 6 PM, Charles Woodson will arrive and guests will have a chance to have football memorabilia signed by the football star.
