Classic French Films at Le Chat Perché in DC-Le Chat Noir, named for the 1881 avant-garde cabaret in Paris, is less nightclub than the original and more chic. Located in the Friendship Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC, the art nouveau-inspired restaurant is most known for its glass-enclosed wine vault and delicate galettes. On Thursdays, the establishment gets playful and moves the soirée upstairs to its wine lounge where classic black and white French films are projected on a screen behind the bar. Not into wine?
