The Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia welcomes back A Streetcar Named Desire.  Tennessee Williams' masterpiece, A Streetcar Named Desire, went on to become a major sensation on Broadway and in Hollywood. Set in the steamy French Quarter of New Orleans, follow the nervous adventures of a faded Southern belle, Blanche DuBois. 

Show runs now through March 1.

Founded by John E. Allen, Jr. in 1966, Freedom Theatre is Pennsylvania's oldest African-American theatre. In 1968 Robert E. Leslie joined Freedom Theatre and founded the Performing Arts Training Program in 1971.

Today, Freedom Theatre consists of two components: the Barrymore Award-winning Performing Arts Training Program, (Patricia Scott Hobbs, Director) and Facilities Rental (Gail Leslie, Director). These components work hand-in-hand to provide  training in the performing arts and comprehensive customer service and community access.

Helium is a stand-up comedy club that offers a three-act comedy show Wednesday through Saturday.  The show will last about an hour and forty minutes and will include an opener, a feature, and a headliner with national TV credits.
