The votes are in! Best of Manayunk is back to celebrate our diverse businesses and community, and everything our vibrant, historic district has to offer. The competition awards the district in 51 total categories under LIVE, SHOP, DINE, PLAY and READER’S CHOICE, which were voted on by the community. Join us at our Manayunk Cocktail Party on March 23 at 6 p.m. as we announce the long-awaited winners in each category and release the "Best of Manayunk" issue of Manayunk Magazine. Party-goers will get to enjoy tasty samples from our Best of Manayunk DINE winners, too!

Join the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (5900A Greene Street) from Friday, February 24, 2017 through Sunday, February 26, 2017 as they take you on a journey through Neverland in the days before Peter Pan arrived. This tale follows two sisters as they get swept away in a mad pirate queens quest for power. You’ll travel through Neverland while encountering adventure, danger, acrobatics and learning what it means to be a pirate. Tickets are on sale now and are $10-$15 each. Celebrate the Lunar New Year by stepping into the 1920s with Dim Sum House by Jane G (3939 Chestnut Street) and the SOSI on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Year, where the new world meets the old. Come dressed in your best 1920s/1930s attire. Have your fortune told, enjoy the beautiful jazz and old classic music, and food and drinks to complete one of the most fabulous decades. Join the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (5900A Greene Street) for a night of breathtaking circus, hilarious comedy and a little bit o’ burlesque on Saturday, February 11, 2017. This show follows a delightfully eccentric cast of characters on the night of their graduation show from an internationally renowned school of burlesque. Part show, part retrospective, part storytelling and all circus, spend your Valentine's Day Weekend watching us take off our clothes (sorta) and bare our…stories. Showtimes are 5:00pm and 08:30pm. Parental discretion is advised, due to adult themes and humor.

Celebrate P’unk Burger’s (1823 Passyunk Ave) second birthday with shake giveaways, food specials and more on Friday, February 10, 2017. From 5:00pm to 7:00pm, customers will enjoy a free limited edition Yard's Chocolate Love Stout milkshake featuring signature cupcakes from Sweet Box with Yard's stout baked inside. For Mini-Moos and those that prefer non-alcoholic shakes, P'unk Burger will also offer a "Birthday Cake Shake" option with buttercream, candy pieces and cake batter ice cream. Inis Nua Theatre Company presents the American premiere of Irish pub play Leper + Chip by Lee Coffey, from February 15 to March 5, 2017, at The Drake (1521 Spruce St). Boy (Leper) meets Girl (Chip) during a fight at a party. He’s out to get even the next day, but antagonism turns to love.
