Azuka Theatre presents the world premiere of The Arsonists by Philadelphia playwright Jacqueline Goldfinger, from May 3 to 21, 2017, at the Louis Bluver Theatre at The Drake (302 S. Hicks St). Set deep in a Florida swamp, The Arsonists is a lyrical Southern Gothic myth about a father-daughter arson team deconstructing their personal demons. Inspired by the Greek tragedy Electra, this Allison Heishman directed play with music explores the relationship between parent and child in that small space between life and death, the last breath before the awakening.

The Philadelphia Artists’ Collective presents White Devil by John Webster from May 3 to 20, 2017, at Broad Street Ministry (315 S Broad Street). Infidelity, adultery and betrayal spark a seething retribution. Passions are revealed as the body count rises and blood runs cold. John Webster's taut Jacobean tragedy explores the violence teeming underneath the veneer of a civilized society. Featuring Charlotte Northeast as Vittoria, on trial for the murder of her husband, and Dan Hodge as her less-than-upright brother Flaminio. Directed by Damon Benetti.

Inis Nua Theatre Company presents the American Premiere of Swallow, by Scottish playwright Stef Smith from April 26 to May 14, 2017, at the Proscenium Theater at The Drake (302 S. Hicks). Directed by Claire Moyer, Swallow is the story of three strangers and their fragile connections with each other and the world around them.  Stepping or falling, sometimes there is no difference. Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) welcomes Eddie Money to Valley Forge Music Fair on Friday, May 12, 2017. Money burst onto the scene with his self-titled debut album in 1977 with hits like "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise." Money’s biggest hit, the Grammy-Nominated duet with Ronnie Spector, "Take Me Home Tonight" reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Eddie Money continues to perform with the same passion today as he did more than 30 years ago. Doors of The Venue open at 8:00pm and the show starts at 9:00pm.
