Old City District showcases its thriving dining scene with the return of Old City Eats! Old City Eats kicks off Thursday, June 15, 2017 and runs every Thursday through August 31, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. More than 25 participating restaurants and bars will offer at least one half-priced appetizer and at least one $4 beer featuring Penn Beer and one $5 cocktail featuring Faber Liquors all summer long.

The hoppiest day of the year is back! Hawthornes Beer Cafe (738 S. 11th Street) presents the 8th Annual IPA, Champagne and Rose Block Party on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Come out for one of South Philadelphia's largest spring block parties, with over 75 total selections of beers, champagnes and roses, plus music, family fun, food and much more. The party will stretch from Fitzwater to Catharine Streets on 11th Street. From the kitchen, look for street food and block party back-yard favorites.

Diner en Blanc Philadelphia presents the 2017 preview party on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Historic Headhouse Square Shambles (2nd/Pine Streets). Area florists, event planners and designers will present elegant and elaborate table displays that pay homage to “Historic Philadelphia: Events That Shaped Our City.” Feast Your Eyes Catering will be sampling items from this year's Dîner en Blanc catering meals and Collective Creamery will be sampling their cheese boards. Shop from an expanded selection of retail and beauty vendors.
