The Garces Foundation hosts their quarterly Community Health Day, providing free medical and dental care for Philadelphia’s uninsured and underserved immigrants.  Attendees will receive free dental evaluations, dental x-rays, oral Prophylaxis cleaning, oral cancer exams, emergency palliative treatments like extractions and fillings, blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings, cholesterol screenings, physicals, flu shots and other healthcare resources free by appointment. Participants receive free educational documents and a kit of oral care supplies.

Kidney Action Day is coming to Philadelphia on Friday, May 2nd! Take action for your health and get free kidney health screenings from the American Kidney Fund at the Municipal Services Building Plaza on Friday, May 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kidney Action Day is free and open to the public! Come enjoy entertainment, live fitness demonstrations, healthy food samples and free kidney health screenings. Renowned artist, Jean Duquoc will be in person at Merritt Gallery for an exhibition of his works on canvas & paper on April 5th from 1-4pm. This dynamic collection of original paintings and pastels is available to view and to purchase at Merritt Gallery April 3-12, 2014. The public is invited to join serious art collectors at this event and have an opportunity to meet the artist himself as they view the collection. Born in 1937 in Brittany, France, Jean Duquoc is influenced primarily by the landscape of his beloved country. It is his primary source of inspiration.

The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, rain or shine. Held on Walnut Street, from Broad to 19th, the annual event showcases Philadelphia's finest fashions, cuisine, and entertainment, and attracts more than 50,000 people to enjoy the best of Rittenhouse Row.

The Philadelphia Antiques Show: Antiques & Art through the 20th Century invites patrons to its annual Preview Party celebration on Friday, April 25th, 2014. Guests will have the opportunity to peruse select antiques, important art, and rare period pieces while enjoying exquisite food and bar stations located throughout the Show floor. The 2014 Show will help fund the Penn Center for Human Performance at Penn Medicine. Established in 1962, the Antiques Show is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious shows and has raised nearly 20 million dollars for Penn Medicine.
