The AVA artists take center stage in this exhilarating concert of an entire act from three grand operas. Featuring AVA alumna, Metropolitan Opera soprano Angela Meade as Norma, a role she will sing at the 2010 Caramoor Festival. Sung in the original language with English supertitles. Christofer Macatsoris conducts the AVA Opera Orchestra.

Beethoven's Fifth
 at The Philadelphia Orchestra: The world's foremost Spanish-born conductor, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, presents a performance of a suite from Manuel de Falla's "gypsy ballet" El amor brujo (Love, the Magician). This rich brew of lush favorites continues with solo performances by two of The Philadelphia Orchestra's beloved musicians, Principal Harp Elizabeth Hainen and Principal Cello Hai-Ye Ni, in music by Turina and Saint-Saëns.

C.R. Ettinger Studio Selections
 at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts: As part of the Philagrafika 2010 Festival this exhibition brings together collaborative works by twenty-five artists and Master Printer Cindi Royce Ettinger. Established in 1982, the C. R. Ettinger Studio specializes in intaglio and relief techniqes and accommodates monoprinting. It is the only professional etching studio in the Philadelphia area. All artwork is original and produced collaboratively with the artist and Ms. Ettinger, a Master Printer for over three decades.
