The Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon has become a top-rated, sell-out event with a $13,500 purse.  The weekend will feature exhibitions and festivities throughout the Park.  The event benefits the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Department, Philadelphia Police Athletic League and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, through their Team in Training program.

The world's most competitive cyclists turn their sights on Philadelphia, when about 300,000 fans line an arduous road course to watch hundreds of elite pro cyclists whip through some of Philadelphia's most beautiful streets.  Time trials start at 7 am on Saturday, June 5, and the race itself is on Sunday, June 6.  There is also a Bike Show being held at the Convention Center from June 4-6
