Learn the techniques for making fabulous summer inspired dishes of the Mediterranean. Originally from Serbia, Executive Chef Nenad Stefanovic will teach you about the great variety of flavors and tastes while utilizing fresh summer produce available at our local farmer markets. Also, learn how to cook with and source a variety of olive oils. Enjoy a 5-course luncheon featuring exotic Mediterranean fare during the class. Recipes included. As Executive Chef for several established restaurants, Chef Nenad built a reputation as being young, talented and precise, which garnered him an invitation to work under Todd English at Walt Disney World’s Swan & Dolphin Resort. From there, Nenad worked alongside Executive Chef Jesse Llapitan at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, where he created high quality American cuisine based on fresh ingredients from local farmers’ produce and classic cooking techniques with French and American accents. Now in command of the kitchen at the Dupont Hotel and Café Dupont, Nenad specializes in memorable French-influenced dishes that showcase the fresh, organic produce from Dupont Circle’s FRESHFARM market. His menu and daily specials reflect the changing of the seasons. He’ll delight you with his passion for fresh ingredients and their marriage in superlative dishes for your dining pleasure. Much of Washington DC’s cityscape was laid out with Paris in mind, including Dupont Circle, the location of The Dupont Hotel and Café Dupont. Relax and enjoy superb French-inspired cuisine in a dining room filled with natural light, pale woods and mosaic stone. Or dine outdoors with vistas of the eclectic, colorful Dupont Circle scene while sipping a glass of wine from the Café’s reasonably priced wine list.
