The Vikings are Coming!

Beards aren’t just for hipsters! Join us for our Viking Day, and get to know the original bearded warriors as we travel through time to explore Norse culture. Visitors can view a 40-foot, half-size working model of the Gokstad ship, learn the runic alphabet, compete in a Hnefeltafle or Viking Chess competition, and reflect on what is known about this often misunderstood culture. 

Admission: Adults $7 ($5 for members), children 5-18 years $5 ($3 for members), and children under 5 are free. Pre-registration can be made online or by calling 215-389-1776.
